I saw this hawk while walking my dog on a Sunday afternoon in February. It was near a playground by the Lake Banook Boat Club and Sullivans Pond, not far from where I live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. As you can imagine, I was quite surprised to see a Red-tailed Hawk in the middle of the city. Since that time, I have noticed that this hawk is a frequent visitor to our area in Winter, and I always know when it is around because the crows are making a big fuss and they are harassing the red-tail.
